Two factions:
Elite : refused altoghet
General public: some had faith
Ayah: 46 ” if you would just ask Allah to forgive you, you might receive mercy”
Why dont you replace evil with good by seeking forgiveness.
example: you pray namaz with khushu; but then you get bz and your namaze are slacking off, duas are left off; this is not a sin but ghaflat; now if a trial comes on us , what do we do?
Do we turn to Allah in repentance or do we rebel?
Do duas o f Istaghfaar.
Ayah 47
Ayah 48-49: The Plot of the Nine Assassins
Those nine were diguised as reformers , but they were corrupting the people
Ayah 50-51: they plotted to kill Saleh (as)
Ayah 52-53: People with Taqwa were saved
Ayah 54-55: The example of Lut (as)
Ayah 56-58: shower of brimstones on those who were warned.
Ayah 80 Whose hearts have died, sealed with arrogance , ego, lusts
Dabbatul earth : sign of Qiyamet when there is no one who does the ‘enjoining of good and forbidding evil’; this animal/creature will talk which we can understand;
This will tell us ‘ believe in the sign of Allah’

Ayah 60 onwards
‘Amman’ = Who is it who created the heavens and earth….
Ayah 62-63:
[27:62] Who answers to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Little do you remember.
So we need to call on Allah alone in pain
Shirk is when we forget Allah in pain and depend on other people
Surah Qasas:
Ayah :7 Allah inspired the Mother of Musa (as)
Ayah 13
Ayah 14-16: Dua:
Allah has fulfilled His promise becoz of her tawakkul, ataat, sabr , tadbir; =====TAWAKKAL AND TADBIR: asbaab –utilize the means and the available resources to you max capacity.
Ayah 24: He did a naiki first then made a Dua ‘ My Rabb, I could use whatever good You send me.’
Musa (as ) has a strong connecction with Allah (swt) even before Prophethood
Ayah 26: quality of a good Employee: Qawi and Amin: Strong and Trustworthy
Trustworthy: Haq ada karna, fulfil your duties, honest and loyal, best quality,
Also , the girl is smart and has guessed his personality right; she is modest yet does all the work and gives advice.
Ayah 27: The father of the girls didnt want fitna of employing a young man, so he gave the proposal for his daughter.
Also the mehr was fixed as Musa (as) to work for 10 years.
Ayah 29: The Burning Bush
{according to torah , when he completed his service and then journeyed out with his wife and two kids}
Musa (as) saw a fire burning on Mount Tur
[ did a mistake , asked forgiveness, helped someone, made a dua , did service —and now Allah is blessing him with Prophethood.] Ikhlaas is important.
Ayah 33-34:
Broadminded , so asking for help. [ Isa (as) asked for help from hawari]
Ayah 35: Allah is promising
Ayah 36 Musa returns to Egypt
Ayah 38 : Pharoah making fun of
Ayah 39-40: The arrogant thrown [as trash] .

Qarun was a Hebrew but was favored by Pharoah ; so he turned againt his own nation Bani Israel becoz of his wealth.
Ayah 78: Qarun is crediting himself and his knowledge for his huge wealth.
Ayah 79: One day Quraun strutted with all his finery and those who only desire
Ayah 82
Ayah 83-84: Gloating or Jannah?
[28:83] That home of the Hereafter We assign to those who do not desire to gloat upon the earth or cause trouble throughout the earth. And the [best] outcome is for those who are aware (of their duty to God).
Surah Ankaboot:1-44
Ayah 2-3
أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوا أَن يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ ﴿٢﴾ وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّـهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْكَاذِبِينَ ﴿٣﴾
[29:2] Sahih International
Do the people think that they will be left to say, “We believe” and they will not be tried?
[29:3] Sahih International
But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.
Allah tries us to find out who is really true to his words.
Ayah 6-7
وَمَن جَاهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿٦﴾
[29:6] Sahih International
And whoever strives only strives for [the benefit of] himself. Indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَحْسَنَ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٧﴾
[29:7] Sahih International
And those who believe and do righteous deeds – We will surely remove from them their misdeeds and will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do.
Ayah 8:
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا ۖ
[29:8] Sahih International
And We have enjoined upon man goodness to parents.
Ayah 32 : Wife of Lut (as)
She used to do khiyanat; when the angels came to the house , she informed others about it
The Quality of a good wife is keep the secrets of the home in the home.
So the wife became one who was left behind.
